Layer styles are the latest formatting feature for Media.
These styles allow designers to add advanced styles to layers, like Opacity, Text Shadow or Border Radius.
Please note, Layer Styles are an advanced feature. You don’t have to use them to create great looking media. BUT – for those looking to add something special to their designs – layer styles are a great addition to the toolset.
Layer Styles are especially useful for integration apps and other dynamic media, where formatting is required but the text and images change over time. In these cases, a style applied to the entire layer (vs a static image or text) is necessary.
