It’s exciting to see how place-based media is creating new ways to engage customers at the point-of-sale across not one or two but hundreds, even thousands of venues. A new kind of digital marketing channel is emerging that is partly physical, partly virtual and it allows not just retail stores, but suppliers, industry partners, and community partners of all kinds to tap in to a large scale yet very targeted marketing process.
