How to Organize Items Using ScreenScape Tags

ScreenScape Tags provide a simple way to organize your Media, Playlists or Hardware items quickly and efficiently. You can think of ScreenScape tags a bit like a folder for your items. You can assign a tag to mulitple items at once to make it easy to relocate them in your library later on.

Assigning a Tag to Media

In this example, we are going to assign a tag titled “Trainer Profiles” to four of our Media items.

STEP 1: On the Media page, select the media items that you’d like to apply a tag to.

STEP 2: Once your media items have been selected, click on the Modify tags icon   in the top right of the selection tray that will appear at the top of the app. When you click on this icon a sliding selection tray will appear on the right side. Here you can assign as many tags as you’d like to subcategorize the media in question. In the example above we just added one tag called ‘Trainer Profiles.’

STEP 3:  Type in your tag name in the Add tag text field. When you are finished, press your Enter key on your keyboard.

STEP 4: Once you’ve added all of your desired tags, just click the UPDATE link at the bottom of the selection tray.

That’s it! Now you can search for those specific Media items by searching via tag in the search bar at the top of the ScreenScape app.

Assigning a Tag to Playlists

In this example, we are going to assign a tag titled “East Coast Playlists” to two of our existing Playlists.

STEP 1: On the Playlist page, select the playlists that you’d like to apply a tag to.

STEP 2: Once your playlists have been selected, click on the Modify tags icon   in the top right of the selection tray that will appear at the top of the app. When you click on this icon a sliding selection tray will appear on the right side. Here you can assign as many tags as you’d like to subcategorize the playlists in question. In the example above we just added one tag called ‘East Coast Playlists.’

STEP 3:  Type in your tag name in the Add tag text field. When you are finished, press your Enter key on your keyboard.

STEP 4: Once you’ve added all of your desired tags, just click the UPDATE link at the bottom of the selection tray.

That’s it! Now you can search for those specific Playlists by searching via tag in the search bar at the top of the ScreenScape app.

Assigning a Tag to Hardware

In this example, we are going to assign a tag titled “East Coast Hardware” to three of our Hardware items.

STEP 1: On the Hardware page, select the hardware items that you’d like to apply a tag to.

STEP 2: Once your hardware items have been selected, click on the Modify tags icon   in the top right of the selection tray that will appear at the top of the app. When you click on this icon a sliding selection tray will appear on the right side. Here you can assign as many tags as you’d like to subcategorize the hardware items in question. In the example above we just added one tag called ‘East Coast Hardware.’

STEP 3:  Type in your tag name in the Add tag text field. When you are finished, press your Enter key on your keyboard.
