ScreenScape Device Warranty

ScreenScape warrants all Devices (including any ancillary parts that may be packaged with it) (the “Device”) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one year from the date of original purchase by the end user (“Limited Warranty”). This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in locations where the Device is sold and will only apply if you purchased your Product from ScreenScape or its authorized resellers. This Limited Warranty does not apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse (including failure to follow product documentation), neglect, disassembly, alterations and external causes such as but not limited to water damage, lightning strike and extreme thermal or environmental conditions. ScreenScape will not be responsible for any damage to any other device or accessory that you own that may be caused by connecting those items to the Device. This Limited Warranty does not guarantee that use of the Device will be uninterrupted or error free. EXCLUSIVE REMEDY: If a defect arises and you return your Device during the one year warranty period, we will in our sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law: (1) either repair your Device using new or refurbished parts; (2) replace your Device with a new or refurbished device functionally at least equivalent to yours. If ScreenScape repairs or replaces the Device, the repaired or replaced Device will continue to be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction. All returned parts for which you have received a replacement will become the property of ScreenScape. You must ship your Device pursuant to the instructions provided by ScreenScape Customer Success. Failure to return any of the accessories or improper packaging of the Device, or damage to the Device outside of the scope of this Limited Warranty, may result in a delay or the return of the Device to you without repair, replacement, or refund. To make a warranty claim and to receive an RMA number, please contact the ScreenScape Customer Success department (1-877-666-1975 Option 7). You must provide your name, contact information and the serial number of your Device to receive warranty consideration.

 

Excerpts from the Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Policy

1.1. SSN Products

The length of a warranty term may differ between product types and models. For details, please see the specific warranty for your product.

1.2. SSN Replacement Products

A replacement product is warranted for the remainder of the original product’s warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.

 

Product Out of Warranty

A product whose warranty period has expired or which has been damaged or misused may be determined to be out-of-warranty. If your product is determined to be out-of-warranty, the following guidelines will apply:

  • A new product must be purchased by the customer to replace the out-of-warranty device.
  • The new item(s) will carry the original manufacturer’s warranty from date of purchase.
  • All shipping costs for the new item(s) are the responsibility of the Customer.
