Coinciding with the launch of ScreenScape Connect, ScreenScape Networks Inc. announced today it is revamping its partner programs. ScreenScape Connect is a subscription-based software solution that includes a plug-and-play device that turns any TV into a digital sign.

“ScreenScape Connect now makes it easy for any business to take advantage of place-based media” says company Founder and CEO, Mark Hemphill. “The device-oriented approach also makes it much easier to sell and to distribute ScreenScape solutions, and so it gives us an opportunity to expand and improve upon our partner programs.”
The device that ScreenScape now ships with every subscription can serve as a simple, yet powerful demonstration of the solution at work. This makes it easier for non-technical sales teams to present the many benefits of place-based media without having to use the software.
“It’s easier to show someone what these devices can do than to explain how the software works”, says Hemphill. “That means we can all but eliminate the learning curve for new sales partners. Now they see it much like selling a smart phone. Like a smart phone, software and services are what’s driving it but the focal point, the thing, is the device and that’s easy to demonstrate. As a result, the sales cycles have become shorter and success rates much higher.”
Authorized Sales Agent (ASA) Program Upgrades
ScreenScape’s Authorized Sales Agent (ASA) Program offers qualified industry professionals cash compensation for cultivating interest in ScreenScape solutions and generating successful sales leads. While the program has existed for some time the company is using the arrival of ScreenScape Connect to enhance the program both by increasing the rate of commission it pays out to official ASAs and by doubling the length of the commission stream.
New Reseller Program
The new device-oriented approach also opens up new partnership models. For the first time in its history ScreenScape is introducing a new Reseller Program that offers qualified distribution partners an opportunity to buy devices at a wholesale discount for use in their own product lines or as part of their own value-added solution.
“Now that we’re moving boxes we’re better equipped to cater to businesses who want to own the relationship with the end customer and control the sales and distribution process” says Hemphill. “It’s now simply a matter of ordering devices from ScreenScape and reselling them to your customer as you wish.
