If you have installed your device and you only see a black screen with the message “No Items Played, Play Will Resume in 5 Minutes” at the bottom center of the display, then attempt the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure that you have content published to the account associated with that device. If there is nothing published to your device this message will appear until you do publish a content item.
  2. If you do have content published to your account already and you are still seeing this message then ensure that not all content items are scheduled to play outside of the current date/time. If all content items are scheduled to play at a time in the past or the future, then your display will show this message until the content schedules are adjusted, or until you place at least one content item in your playlist to play always.
