Download and Install the ScreenScape4 Desktop Application

The ScreenScape4 desktop application delivers the same user experience as the browser-based version. The only difference is you’re launching a desktop application to access the service instead of a web browser. That means, by launching the ScreenScape4 Desktop App, you can continue to create and publish content using the same ScreenScape4 service you’re used to, indefinitely, even after standard web browsers discontinue their support for Flash.

Downloading the App

Get started by downloading the ScreenScape4 desktop app. For optimal use, the ScreenScape4 desktop application requires Windows 10+ or OS X Yosemite 10.10+.

Installing the App

Windows OS

Step 1 – Once downloaded, locate the installation file on your PC. The filename will be ScreenScape4.exe.

Step 2 – Double click the installation file. The installation of the ScreenScape4 app will then begin.

Step 3 – Once the desktop application finalizes it’s installation, you will be prompted to login to your ScreenScape4 account. A shortcut for the ScreenScape4 app will automatically be added to your desktop.

Mac OS

Step 1 – Once downloaded, locate the installation file on your PC. The filename will be ScreenScape4.dmg.

Step 2 – Double click the installation file. The installation of the ScreenScape4 app will then begin.

Step 3 – Once the desktop application finalizes it’s installation, you will be prompted to login to your ScreenScape4 account. A shortcut for the ScreenScape4 app will automatically be added to your desktop.

ScreenScape4 Desktop App FAQ

You can easily reset your password by clicking on the 'Can't Login' link that can be found just below the password field. You will be prompted to submit your login name. We will then send an email to your address with a link that will allow you to change your password. Once you have updated your password in your browser, you will have to go back to the desktop app to login to your account.
The ScreenScape4 Desktop App will remember your login name and password after you've successfully logged in for the first time. If you can't remember your password, either click the 'Can't Login' link on the login page or contact ScreenScape Customer Success.
Software updates are automatically downloaded and installed "over-the-air." You will be notified when an update has occurred and you may have to close and reopen the desktop app to finalize the installation.
Yes. You can still update your content and playlists on your ScreenScape4 devices directly from the ScreenScape4 Desktop App.
No. ScreenScape4 remains exactly the same. No changes have been made to the platform.
